Upcoming activities – online meeting link on event pages

  1. May 3, Tuesday at 7:30 pmInterclub Competition Against Greater Bridgeport and Milford Camera Clubs. Cheer for Flagpole in this head-to-head competition in 25 categories.
    • Online option – meeting link on event page
    • We are excited to announce that we will also have an in-person audience at the Newtown Senior Center. Bring your pom poms and noise makers to cheer on Flagpole Photographers Camera Club in this head-to-head contest. Social time will be 7:00 to 7:30pm and we will watch the live stream virtual competition starting at 7:30pm. Masks are optional and chairs will be spaced apart.
  2. May 5, Thursday at 7:30 pm to 8:30 pmMentor Night. At Mentor Night, experienced club members help others make their photos better. Anyone can also submit questions and members can upload photos before the meeting.
  3. May 12, Thursday at 7:15 pmCharacter Portrait Night – Superheroes, Police, Fire, Sports, Motorcycles, … This program is outside at Fairfield Hills. Bring a camera or device and take photos of the characters.
  4. May 15, Sunday at 2:00 pmAnnual Competition Virtual Judging. Watch as judges select the best of the best for our annual awards.
  5. May 26, Thursday at 7:00 pmCompetition with “A Unique View of Your Hometown” Assigned Subject and Monthly Challenge “Speed”.

Deadline Monday, May 9 for uploading photos to our Annual Competition.
