On Thursday evening, September 8th, the Flagpole Photographers Camera Club had their first program of the 2016-17 season. The President of the club, Mark Ashbolt, began the evening by welcoming members back from the summer break, inviting new members to introduce themselves, and announcing events and changes for the coming year.
Linda Lubinsky, who coordinates Programs for the club, then introduced the guest presenter for the evening, club member and professional photographer and graphic designer Phil Keane. Phil presented an excellent program on using Adobe Photoshop layers for photographic editing and compositing and he also demonstrated how to work with text as a photographic design element. He presented many useful techniques and tips that are a result of his professional experience.
After the program, the members of the club celebrated the new season with an ice cream social and good conversation.
