1940’s Glamour Style Photography with Bob Harrington

On April 7th, the Flagpole Photographers were treated to a great evening at the Newtown Senior Center with professional photographer Bob Harrington. After a short lecture and demonstration, club members were encouraged to take photos at stations set up around the room of models dressed in 1940’s style clothes and adorning bright red lipstick.

The bright lights and dark backgrounds creating sharp shadows allowed the photographers the opportunity to try to replicate the 1940’s style of Hollywood glamour photography at this hands on workshop. Members then went home to do some post-processing on the images before sharing their favorites.
