Overview

Start your engines for this program night! Take a ride to Fairfield Hills where we will photograph cars and motorcycles. We’ll creatively light the scene with gels, smoke and light painting. But if you’re in the mood for something on a smaller scale, how about trying your hand at “forced perspective” photography. Bring your camera and toy cars (1:18 scale or larger preferred) for a creative twist on car photography.

Hands-On Activity Stations Inside and Outside

1. Outside: Riley’s car. Thanks, Adam!
   — Anyone else have a vehicle to bring to the program?
2. Inside: Transforming a toy car into a life-size winter wonderland scene.
3. Inside: Bringing an old building with cars to life-size with creative perspective.
4. Outside: Using model cars and forced perspective to create a life-size illusion in front of a Fairfield Hills building.
