On April 11th, photographers from Oxford Greens and Flagpole Photographers camera clubs joined Don Toothaker and Bob Ring of New England Photo Workshops for a Black and White Workshop. Don and Bob showed us how to look for high contrast situations to make interesting black and white shots. After taking photos at the beautiful Zoar Ridge Stables and Sandy Hook Center, we went back to the C. H. Booth Library where Don and Bob showed us how to post process in Lightroom to get the best results from the photos. It was a full day of learning new techniques, trying different styles and laughing with friends, both old and new.
We are grateful to Annette and Brian Sullivan of Zoar Ridge Stables for letting us photograph their beautiful farm. Thank you, Don and Bob, for helping us expand our skills!
