On April 7th, the Flagpole Photographers were treated to a great eveningย at the Newtown Senior Centerย withย professional photographer Bob Harrington. After a short lecture and demonstration, club members were encouraged to take photos atย stations set up around the room of models dressed in 1940’s style clothesย and adorning bright red lipstick.
The bright lights and dark backgrounds creating sharp shadows allowed the photographers the opportunity to try to replicate the 1940’s style of Hollywood glamour photography at this hands on workshop. Members then went home to do some post-processing on the images before sharingย their favorites.
