NECCC Winter 2021 Projected Image Interclub Competition Results

The New England Camera Club Council (NECCC) Winter 2021 Projected Image Interclub Competition was hosted by the Stony Brook Camera Club of Massachusetts and judged in late January. Forty clubs around New England participated in the Pictorial section of the competition and thirty-nine clubs participated in the Nature section.

In the Pictorial section Class A, Charter Oak Photographic Society took first place with a score of 94 points. Flagpole Photographers Camera Club of Newtown tied for second place with a score of 92 points along with Camera Club of Central New England, and Greater Lynn Photography Association.

In the Nature section Class B, Connecticut Valley Camera Club placed first with a score of 93 points, Springfield Photographic Society placed second with 92 points, and Flagpole Photographers placed third with 91 points.

Four photos may be entered from different club members in each of the two categories.

Representing Flagpole Photographers in the Pictorial section were Mark Ashbolt with “Watkins Glen,” Darrell Harrington with “Skies Are Getting Angry,” Erik Landegren with “Just A Rose,” and Hannah Munroe with “Spine of Boxes.” Both Landegren and Munroe were recognized with an Honorable Mention for their photos.

In the Nature section Class B, Flagpole Photographers was represented by Michelle Babyak with “Dragon Fly,” Chane Cullens with “Lovers Sharing Food,” Rhonda Cullens with “My Profile Shot,” and Sandy Schill with “Landing.” Chane Cullens and Rhonda Cullens each earned an Honorable Mention for their photos in this category as well.
