Ice Cream Social and Using Camera Raw by Sandy Schill
We’ll be kicking off our new 2018-2019 season with an ice cream social followed by a discussion on using camera raw. Digital cameras and many smartphones support saving the unprocessed image sensor data, which is known as “raw”.Raw files contain more image information and must be processed before they are printed or uploaded to social media. Tools for processing raw files has evolved a lot over the last few years allowing more photographers to easily take advantage of the additional information captured by the camera. Flagpole member Sandy Schill will take us through how raw fits into our digital workflow and using Adobe tools streamlines getting them processed for printing and sharing. Bring your laptop and you can practice along with the presentation!
