The assigned subject for January is “Leading Lines”.
Leading Lines are lines that lead the eye into another part of the photograph. A road, fence, bridge, railway, river, etc. are just a few examples of the many things that can create a line leading the eye into a photograph.
Categories
A member may enter up to four photos. One photo may be submitted for each of the 4 categories.

Digital Assigned Subject – entry may be color or monochrome
Digital Open – Class A or Class B – entry may be color or monochrome (Class B is generally used for beginners)
Print Color Open
Print Monochrome Open

Uploading digital photos
Use the Upload page for all digital categories. The upload deadline is Monday, at midnight, the week of the competition. Information onupload file types, sizes and color space are at the bottom of the upload page.
Print labels
Usethe label templatefor the information that must be on the back of your photo. Attach the label in the upper right corner so that your photo will beorientated correctly for the judges. You can enter your information into the label template before your print, or by hand after you print. Leave the “Picture #” and “Score” fields blank.
