The Flagpole Photographers Club will have its first meeting of the new year (thanks to a snowstorm that canceled the January 20 meeting) on Thursday, February 17. The meeting, which will begin at 7:30 pm, will be at Cyrenius H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street in Newtown.

The guest speaker will be James Parsons, who will present a program on "Judging Techniques."

After his presentation, Mr. Parsons will put his techniques to work on the monthly assigned subject "Scenic/Travel" (prints) as well as last month's snowed out competition Lines (prints).

Non-members are always welcome to attend at no charge. Competitions are open to members only.
